Oh the Pochette Metis, the bag that started it all.

My husband surprised me with a black epi OnTheGo for my birthday (my first Louis Vuitton), while I loved it so very much it felt a little too "serious"... If that makes sense. I decided to exchange it for something more fun and casual and landed on the Pochette Metis in Reverse Monogram.

The Reverse Monogram print is very beautiful and feels more spring/summer than traditional monogram to be sure but my reason for settling on this one? No Vachetta. That was it. I had heard so many things about water spots and stains, not to mention patina which can be uneven.

I LOVE this bag! If you are new to it I highly recommend putting a wallet and some sort of pouch (one in each pocket) because it makes it much easier to lock the S lock closure! Additionally, make sure that you keep the tips of the prongs covered, from pictures on places like Poshmark and Mercari, the tips of the prongs can wear dramatically and completely lose their gold coloring.
